As the name suggests, this fruit was named after monks in the mountains of China. Its traditional name is Luo Han Guo. This sweet fruit has been used in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) for centuries!

Other keto sweeteners on the market promote themselves as being a "monk fruit" sweeteners. Still, the truth is that they contain very little monk fruit and are mostly just sugar alcohol (erythritol), and these sugar alcohol are often sourced from GMO corn.
If you're on a Low FODMAP diet, you will want to avoid erythritol as it is a polyol.
Erythritol is not recommended if you want great gut health because it can adversely affect digestion and the gut. If you consume erythritol, you may notice that you experience cramps, upset tummy, diarrhoea, bloating, and gas.
Some people notice that erythritol gives them headaches, and for some, it makes them feel nauseous.
Pure Monk fruit sweetener, on the other hand, has no adverse effects and is incredibly safe to consume.

Orders failing to have Route Protection added are at the risk of the customer and will not be refunded if this Route Protection is not added to the order.
