The Pyrrole Disorder Diet

PART 3 - The Pyrrole Disorder Diet

Before we get into diet it's important that we mention that one must work on healing their gut before anything! If your gut is healthier you'll have more chance of managing your condition and being happier. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

If you've had a diagnosis and you do have Pyrrole disorder your health provider would no doubt have spoken to you about gut health? It's a crucial element of the Pyrrole Disorder healing process and not only that but all disease starts in the gut so if we get our gut right, we will obviously be healthier.

So with this aside let's get to the Pyrrole Disorder diet...

Foods to Eat More of

While supplementation is ESSENTIAL for Pyroluria (Pyrrole Disorder) you should look closely at the foods you eat to and incorporate more of the foods that contain the nutrients you are deficient in such as Zinc, Vitamin B6 and GLA, plus other vital nutrients that will help to support your healing journey.

Foods and Things to Avoid:

This has become a whole blog of it's own as I started writing about what foods to avoid I remembered it's a whole lot more diverse than just food. So if you'd like to find out more about the things to avoid, please read my blog 'What to Avoid When you Have Pyrrole Disorder'.

I am currently working on a recipe book specifically for people with Pyrrole disorder (as I share this condition with thousands of others). More and more people every day are being diagnosed.

So if you have this, just know you are not alone, you are not going crazy and take it one day at a time and be gentle with yourself, you'll have good days and not such good days. Health is a journey and not a destination.

Much love, Tam x
