We have eaten butter since the beginning of time and when we stopped and swapped butter for vegetable oils, the sickness of our society dramatically increased.

We can get back to butter by adding in ghee as it is free from lactose so in general ghee is generally very well tolerated by people with lactose intolerance.

It is also free from casein (the milk protein) which some folks also find hard to tolerate.

As a whole, we are also starting to understand the important role that cholesterol actually plays in our body, and that those who have low cholesterol are actually more prone to disease and not less prone!

Dosage

Serving Suggestion: Use in replacement of all harmful cooking oils (canola, corn, cottonseed, grapeseed, rice bran, soybean, sunflower and safflower oils) to bake, fry roast and sauté. Use also instead of olive oil for these same reasons as olive oil is not a good oil to cook with as it can become carcinogenic at high temperatures. Olive oil is better as a dressing or drizzled over food.

Use in gelatin recipes to boost the fat. Use in hot beverages such as black coffee, tea,s cacao, turmeric lattes, chai, matchinga latte/tea.

Add to smoothies, broths, soups, casseroles, stews, and meat stock or add a tsp to veggies or cooked meats and fish.
